Anything by Catherine Howe, please. I couldn't even find a link for "What a Beautiful Place", live or dead, in your post at THTM. Is it hidden there somewhere?
Hi Lizardson, This is my first post but I've been following this blog for a while now, and I've got a little request. I just bought "King of The Highland Bagpipers" by John Burgess from Nokia Ovi but those fools forgot to include track 13 "the Desperate Battle of the Birds". Silly me for not checking first I suppose. This song can only be downloaded from music sites as a "album only" track, so as you can imagine I'm pretty desperate for this track. Best Wishes, Jimmy T
Hi there, this is no request, but an offer. ;-) I run a small blog, which was originally intended to provide a few friends with my selfmade compilations. But anyway, there's meanwhile some stuff, which might be of interest to a wider audience, and in particular at least one record, which might quite fit your musical taste. It's a private release by a completely unknown German band with a very folky touch. If you like it, you may grab it and put it on your blog. See here: http://schnickschnackmixmax.blogspot.com/2010/05/uli-b-band-joker.html The file contains also the pictured artwork.
Took me ages to find that first Boys of the Lough album too, here's a link I just made. Only 160kbps but it's not my rip. Hope Lizardson doesn't mind but maybe is too busy at the moment.
I'm looking for the album 'Blow, ye winds, in the morning' by The Revel Players, sometimes also credited as The Revels. It's an album with beautiful renditions of various sailor songs and sea shanties. You can buy the album on some websites but not if you live outside the USA, so if anyone can help me finding a download link, that would be greatly appreciated.
It's probably a long shot but I have been looking everywhere for an album called " The king of elfland's daughter " by Steeleye Span, released 1977. It was a narrative / Musical album along the lines of " War of the worlds " - I would be extremely grateful if there was any way you could help me out, I have looked everywhere for it but can't find it.
g'day to all at "time will tell you" i have picked up so much good music and information from you, this is my way of "shaking hands" and saying thanks! http://www.mediafire.com/?a54d9l4097mhc6z live from charles sturt university bathurst nsw sep 2010.

Hullo Lizardson--- I've been following your blog since day 1! It's excellent, thank you for years of undiscovered and incredible music-- wondering, do you have/know of Todd Kelley's debut Folksinger album? Been searchin' searchin' searchin' for this one... thanks so much!
Hello A couple of years ago you were kind enough to post my album "Infinities". I have a follow up available for free download, titled "The Other Shore". It's a mix of 60s/70s/trad folk influences and like the other, I think it would suit your blog well. Info and download links are here: http://www.allisterthompson.com/the-other-shore.html
Hi, glad to say thanks to you for all good music you share! Is it possible to get some Jonathan Edwards albums ("Have a Good Time For Me", 1973 is preferable)? Pavel, Ukraine.

Hi Liz! Thank you so much for all of your efforts. I really enjoyed 'All In One Mind' by The Ian McCalman Folk Group you posted a while back. Went to download more stuff from The McCalmans on your blog, but links were nowhere to be found. I was wondering if the albums could be re-uploaded? Many thanks!
Anyone got The Buskers 'Life of a Man' released on Rubber Records in the early '70's...I've got the vinyl but an mp3 would be cool...saw them live twice back then...brilliant!
Hi, Thanks for your site-- you have some amazing things, and is a real pleasure to discover new as well as old sounds! I have been on a long, long search for a Spanish record called "Tiempo Tiempo" by Pedro & Ana...any chance? Also, a request for a re-upload of Maria Barton's "Rainful Days". Best Regards.
This is a tough one, but, I have just heard of an album which was released in 2002 (I think), it is called 50 US Cents and is by The Reel and Soul Association, who are John Kirkpatrick, Thea Gilmore, et al, and is an album of old Soul Classics (Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Booker T, etc) done in a Celtic style and it sounds fascinating, I would love to hear it. I don't suppose you know where I could get a copy?
Ar Log was the first professional Welsh traditional music group active in the 1980s. Their albums (all vinyl I believe) are no longer available. Is it possible to post some of their music. I am only aware of one of their releases available on the web. Thanks.
Wow ! What a great blog you have . And there I found a cd I'm looking for - but no download links to it ? Can you re-up links to Starland Vocal Band (Collectables rec.) Afternoon delight . A BIG thanks zoran
Would it be possible for a re-up of Gallery's The Wind That Shakes The Barley - have been unable to locate it anywhere else on the internet! Many thanks.
Hi, great blog you keep here. Thanks for making so much great music available. Would it be possible to re-up Daniel Patrick Quinn's "Riding the Stang" album from 2005? Any Daniel Patrick Quinn album for that matter. I will be uploading the two eps from his band One More Grain in the next few days if you are interested in that.
Thanks Lizardson for all of your work and the wonderful music. I have a request that you might be able to fill. EMMANUEL- Your Color My Life, a Canadian Private press record. I think it was on Ministries Records? Thanks again. Jacob
Hi. Great site and I visit regularly. Really appreciate your efforts to provide so much hard to get material. Any chance of seeing some of the early Rab Noakes output appear? It would be heaven! Cheers, and keep up the fabulous work.

Could you reup Sounds of Salvation, an Exploration in Worship? The Reflection site does not respond and it appears impossible to get/hear this music anywhere on line. Loomo
Would you please re-post The Doors (without Morrison) Balboa Stadium, San Diego [72-08-13]? rapidshare can't find the file. It's not very easy to find the doors without jim or ray manzarek ( also nite city)in internet. Thanks in advanced. :D
For months now I have searched high and low for Spiers & Boden's "Through & Through" to no avail. Is there any chance you might have this work in your collection and if so, would you mind uploading it so that I may download it for my listening plesure?
looking for a superb folk/rock-singer songwriter album I once owned, but stupidly gave away for some prog lp. It's called "Loner" by Jeff Baker and was released 72 on German BASF. The artist is UK or US, but it's a German production with lots of well known sessionmen. definitely of interest for visitors of your blog, and, I guess, for you personally too.
some time ago you added my recordings titled "The Meaning Of rake The Fonts" to your blog. Unfortunately it was taken down by mediafire without a reason. So here's another try. Some new songs, some known ones , remixed and repackaged. Hi tech lofi songwriter stuff - hope you like it:
Thank you for all the wonderful music you have posted over the years. You have introduced me to many singers that I otherwise would neve have heard about. I wonder if it would be possible to have a re-up of Fat City (and or any Jim and Taffy) The original posting was on Time Has Told Me - a long time ago 02 2008.
Hi, Could you re-up The Willie P. Bennett, "Collectibles" Album that you had up on your Time Has Tolds Me site? I couldn't find a link there for this collection of Willie's fine music.
Love the blog. Would be hugely grateful if you have either/both John and Phil Cunningham Against the Storm or Battlefield Band Home is where the van is.
Thank you, Lizardson; I'm loving "An Untamed sense of Control". I recommend it to anyone who likes raw Old-Time mountain music!
Lizardson, do you think you can dig up Roscoe Holcomb "The High Lonesome Sound" for me? I found a Mediafire download for it earlier today, but the last few songs were skipping real bad.
I'd appreciate it, and thank you so much for everything you do.
Greetings - what about: Maddy Prior & Tim Hart / Folk Songs Of Olde England, Vol. 2? Vol. 1 is reasonably found here and there, but Vol. 2 is harder to find. A source for Vol. 2 was linked to in the comments to your Vol. 1 post, but the link is dead. Thanks for the resources! C.
Many thanks to you for this blog, and to Simon Reynolds for the pointer to it.
Any chance of reupping Heron and Stackridge? And if you have access to Dave and Toni Arthur's Harken To The Witches Rune - or any other D&TA - I'm sure I wouldn't be the only person who'd be grateful ...
Hi the musics that uploaded in your blog are always rare and very hard to find in the other blogs. i want to request you to re-up 4 of your older posts. i know it might take your time so i request my asks by priority. 1 - "Taro Meyer" 1973 http://time-has-told-me.blogspot.com/2007/11/by-js-2.html 2 - Sarah "Sarah & Friends" 1971 http://time-has-told-me.blogspot.com/2007/11/by-js-3.html 3 - Julie Felix "This World Goes Round And Round" 1968 http://time-has-told-me.blogspot.com/2007/11/by-bluenorther-17.html

Hi. Mike Lee's son here - dont know why decided to get all historical tonight but played the moon shone bright tonight for the first time in 20 years tonight and wondered what the Net was saying about fiddlers green and the other Icons.
Keep this going my dad would have been over the moon with the thought something the Broadside did had hit the net, not that the net existed in 75!

I have a rare, unknown album that I'd like to submit for your consideration if you are interested. Is there an email I can get in touch with you from? Thanks, John Stanton
Thanks for re-upping Mighty River, but you've removed the download link, presumably because it's commercially available. What I'd love to see is some way of downloading samples of these CDs - particularly the live tracks. No sensible person would pay £38 for a box-set without being confident of the quality.
I fell in love with the music of Maria Barton after hearing your upload of "Rainful Days". I would love, love to hear more from her. There seems to be little mention of her albums online, and even less about her personally. It would mean so much to me. Thanks for all the great music!
By any chance have you a copy of 'Easy' by Ralph McTell? We were talking about the track 'Maddy Dances' yesterday, and I realised I hadn't heard it in ages. It would be very much appreciated if you have a copy of this and could post it, thanks in advance.
when you were so kind to post my music on your fantastic blog I was quite overwhelmed by how many people lended me their ears. I think my new collection of songs might be of interest for some of your readers. Just like the first one this consists of my own homerecorded songs. Mostly acoustic singer-songwriter stuff made by an amatueur with a vast record collection.
In 1980 Lisa Neustadt and the Angel Band put out a vinyl album on Philo Records call "Shout for Joy: An Unusual Collection of Traditional Carols." I have not been able to find this recording amywhere. It would be great to post on your site if you can find it. Thanks.
Hi L. and friends: I'm back with a new recording, this one of special interest, as it's all traditional music from Britain. The catch is it's not free...however, people can listen to the whole thing on bandcamp, which is almost as good. http://allisterthompson.bandcamp.com/album/larkrise Thanks, AT.
I would REALLY appreciate if you would re-up Elvis Costello & Steve Nieve "Berlin, Grosser Sendesaal des SFB 10th of May, 1999" I've been looking all over for this one.
I dicovered Jimmy LaFave looking for Dylan's covers. I've got 2 original albums (Texoma & Austin Skyline) in New York. I ordered them to a friend. But here in Spain all his discography is hard to find. I've got a lot of them (Buffalo return, Highway trance, Blue nightfall, Highway angels & Cimarron) and I've seen his two first albums here, but its links doesn't work.... Maybe? Thanks!
Is their any chance of a re-up of "Brian Dewhurst & Tom Tiddler's Ground - The Hunter and the Hunted" which was originally posted on Time Has Told Me? Many thanks. Byron.
I don't know if this blog is still running but I would really appreciate any more Jack Hardy, particularly his record Civil Wars. Thanks a lot for all the other music.
Hi,great blog.was wondering if you might be able to re post the BBC Radio 2 Documentary:For the Good Time:The Kris Kristofferson Story as narrated by Steve Earle.i could offer some stuff in trade too.thx

Hi
Just heard that Jonathan Swift has died suddenly in Belgium (aged 67).
He used to play round the clubs in my home town (Bradford) in the 60s and was always a popular musician.
Anyway, any chance of re-ups of his 'Introvert' and 'Songs'? Both lovely albums.
Thanks in advance

looking for a superb folk/rock-singer
songwriter album I once owned, but stupidly gave away for some prog lp. It's called "Loner" by Jeff Baker and was released 72 on German BASF. The artist is UK or US, but it's a German production with lots of well known sessionmen. definitely of interest for visitors of your blog, and, I guess, for you personally too.
Hi Lizardson,
some time ago you added my recordings titled "The Meaning Of rake The Fonts" to your blog. Unfortunately it was taken down by mediafire without a reason. So here's another try. Some new songs, some known ones , remixed and repackaged. Hi tech lofi songwriter stuff - hope you like it:

I wonder if it would be possible to have a re-up of Fat City (and or any Jim and Taffy) The original posting was on Time Has Told Me - a long time ago 02 2008.
Hope you can help.
David

Thank you, Lizardson; I'm loving "An Untamed sense of Control". I recommend it to anyone who likes raw Old-Time mountain music!
Lizardson, do you think you can dig up Roscoe Holcomb "The High Lonesome Sound" for me? I found a Mediafire download for it earlier today, but the last few songs were skipping real bad.
I'd appreciate it, and thank you so much for everything you do.

Love the site, especially the early English folk. Any chance of a re-up of the Watersons' Mighty River?
Murray451 from England - new to collecting Nick Drake bootlegs. What chance of any of them in lossless format rather than mp3 please? Trade perhaps rather than eat your bandwidth?? Thanks.

I have a rare, unknown album that I'd like to submit for your consideration if you are interested. Is there an email I can get in touch with you from?
Thanks, John Stanton
Thanks for your many excellent uploads. I'd like to request a re-up of Bandoggs if that's at all possible.
All best
Thanks for re-upping Mighty River, but you've removed the download link, presumably because it's commercially available. What I'd love to see is some way of downloading samples of these CDs - particularly the live tracks. No sensible person would pay £38 for a box-set without being confident of the quality.
Any chance of reing-up the Corries live from Scotland series? Thanks.
I used own Bill Morrisey's two records Night Train and North. I only own Standing Eight now. Is there any chance that you may have these two records?
Thanks,
Josh
I fell in love with the music of Maria Barton after hearing your upload of "Rainful Days". I would love, love to hear more from her. There seems to be little mention of her albums online, and even less about her personally. It would mean so much to me. Thanks for all the great music!
By any chance have you a copy of 'Easy' by Ralph McTell? We were talking about the track 'Maddy Dances' yesterday, and I realised I hadn't heard it in ages. It would be very much appreciated if you have a copy of this and could post it, thanks in advance.

Hi Lizardson,
when you were so kind to post my music on your fantastic blog I was quite overwhelmed by how many people lended me their ears. I think my new collection of songs might be of interest for some of your readers. Just like the first one this consists of my own homerecorded songs. Mostly acoustic singer-songwriter stuff made by an amatueur with a vast record collection.
Hope you like it. Files @192, artwork included.

Hi L. and friends:
I'm back with a new recording, this one of special interest, as it's all traditional music from Britain. The catch is it's not free...however, people can listen to the whole thing on bandcamp, which is almost as good.

Thanks, AT.
Hello!

Hi there: Incredible web page!

But here in Spain all his discography is hard to find. I've got a lot of them (Buffalo return, Highway trance, Blue nightfall, Highway angels & Cimarron) and I've seen his two first albums here, but its links doesn't work.... Maybe? Thanks!

Thanks.
